There's An Ant On My Goblet...

First, I found a little ant enjoying walking around on my goblet, which made me very happy. I would like to think that they were enjoying their time and playing with the clay.

The equal-parts porcelain that Hailey and I made last week is AMAZING!! It is by far the best clay I have ever used. I love the way it feels and when I am on the wheel it is so easy to work with. I personally think that class clay is SO much harder to use and the grog hurts my hands.

The equal parts of porcelain is extremely smooth and when I am pulling up the walls, it feels like it is automatically doing it without my help. I am looking forward to making my mugs now that I have this clay body.

Luckily, I am off of work all next week, so I will have a lot of extra time after my classes to be in the studio. I miss having the time to stay in the studio all night and relax, while also working on the wheel of course. I am hoping that my time off from work will be a nice time to reset my brain and have some time to get my life together.
