I Don't Even Know What Day It Is...

This week has been a complete blur. Between work and school, my life has become insanely hectic. I often catch myself looking at my phone to see what day it is because I honestly have no idea what is going on.
Now that I am working on the mug project I have been trying to decide what I want to do with my mugs. I know we are required to have ten, so I wanted to divide them into different groups. I plan on having four marbled mugs (like the ones I made over the summer), three mugs dipped with glaze, and then two neuron mugs. The neuron mugs may be a bit ambitious so if I run out of time I will just make them into two additional marbled mugs.
Last class Hailey and I made equal parts porcelain so I am looking forward to using that in the studio. Hopefully, I will be able to come in either tomorrow or Sunday as I do not have work all day. I also need to make some of the dark brown clay to use for the marbled mugs, but I think I will get some regular mugs thrown first. I really like how the dark brown clay feels because it feels much thicker and has a nice texture. I tried using the sandy white (I think that is the name?) clay over the summer and I was not a fan! I can't explain why, but I did not like throwing with it at all. I did make a whistle with it though, and that turned out nice, so maybe it is better for hand-building. I told another classmate that she could use the rest of it. I am looking forward to being in the studio and having some quiet time to throw things and get some work done.
